Ravi Mishra (born September 17, 1995, in Laxmi Nagar, East Delhi) is an Indian rapper, lyricist, singer, and music producer who is often referred to as Raga. He became popular under the name Ewill Myth in his underground rap days. He is a 26-year-old emerging artist in the Indian musicscape (as of 2021).
Raga never thought of dancing in the form of rapping. The boy always had a flair for writing poetry, and with time, the adaptability to such subtle rhymes and rhythms began to be seen in his writing, which led him toward rap music one day. Raga has no formal background in music training; he started it all from scratch. His favourite influences in that regard are the big shots such as Divine, Naezy, Badshah, and Bohemia.

A significant push came with ‘Raahat’, his first single, which became an internet sensation and crossed the 8-million mark on YouTube. This was the song that helped create a certain appreciation for him in the underground circuit. Thereafter, he signed onto Artisttan and released his first song “Jamnapaar”-a collaboration that tells the story of the Yamuna River in Delhi; this song, too, became a hit with 6 million views on Youtube.
In 2018, the contract he signed with Sony Music became one great change in the life of Raga. Several popular tracks released under this label include Kehendi Si, Champion, Bechain, Pooch Mera Naam, and Rap Ka Mausam. Collaborations with the likes of Badshah and Raftaar helped settle him in the mainstream, further increasing his visibility. Raga has now firmly established himself among underground and mainstream artists alike, slowly carving a successful career.
For his rapping, Raga earns about Rs. 2-4 lakh every month, which includes money he makes from his YouTube channels. Rare independent rap artists like him have also been featured in some big events, such as TEDxJMI. In October 2020, he took part in a collaboration with Rish and Raftaar.
Raga is rapidly gaining much publicity, thanks to his mere combination of hard work, dedication, and a growing fan base that actively supports him. The artist pours a lot into the growing hip-hop and rap culture of India.
