Born on the 28th of August, 1994, in Szczecin, Poland, Joanna Robaczewska has nurtured an almost obsessive inclination for Bollywood since childhood. While undertaking studies in London in 2012, she had one opportunity to see Kal Ho Naa Ho-a sight so beautiful that she went on to engrave its title on her arm with a tattoo. The year at university saw her conceive and host the “Namaste Bollywood” radio show, thus commencing her full-throttle embracement of Indian culture.

Joanna spoke both Polish and English, yet her sheer passion to learn Hindi gave her an extra edge. She not only adapted to speak Hindi but also learned to read and write it- skills that would prove very handy in her career in India.
