Lallianzuala Chhangte was born on June 8, 1997, in Lunglei, Mizoram, India. He is an Indian professional footballer known for his great speed and skills on the field. He mainly plays as a winger and has been a key player for clubs and the country.

Early Life and Youth Career
Chhangte’s love for football began very early in his life in Mizoram. It was because of his early talent that he found a place at the DSK Shivajians’ Liverpool International Football Academy in 2014. He has performed outstandingly for the side in the 2014-15 I-League U19, where he had emerged as the top scorer with 16 goals.
•DSK Shivajians (2016-2017): Chhangte started his professional career with DSK Shivajians in the I-League, making 17 appearances and scoring one goal during his tenure.
•NorthEast United (Loan in 2016): In 2016, he was loaned to NorthEast United in the Indian Super League (ISL), where he made a single appearance.
•Delhi Dynamos (2017-2019): Chhangte’s career witnessed a remarkable period with Delhi Dynamos. He played in 36 games and scored eight goals over two seasons, showing his growth into one of India’s young hopes in football.
•Chennaiyin FC (2019-2022): In 2019, Chhangte joined Chennaiyin FC and made 53 league appearances while scoring 12 goals. This helped Chennaiyin reach the ISL finals in the 2019-20 season.
•Mumbai City FC (2022-Present): Chhangte signed for Mumbai City FC on a loan in January 2022. However, his transfer to the club became permanent in June 2022. He finished the 2022-23 ISL season as the top Indian goalscorer, scoring 10 goals with six assists while playing for Mumbai City, which was highly successful that season.
International Career

Chhangte made his senior debut for the Indian national team in the 2015 SAFF Championship against Sri Lanka. In his second appearance, he scored twice against Nepal, becoming the third-youngest goalscorer for India at that time. As of October 2024, he has earned 41 caps and scored eight goals for the national team.
Playing Style and Recognition
The ace player is more affectionately named the “Mizo Flash,” with top-line speed clocking in at an incredible 35.80 km/h.
