Prachi Bansal is an Indian actress and model who participated in numerous advertisements and Hindi serials. While she has done quite a lot of work before, she came to limelight with the character Sita in the mythological TV series Srimad Ramayan which started airing on Sony TV from January 1, 2024. Apart from that, she has also been featured in various television shows, such as Savdhan India and Pyar Tune Kya Kiya.

Prachi Bansal was born on March 20 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She did her schooling from some local schools and thereafter went on to do her graduation from Mumbai University.
Her journey was started by taking participation in modeling competitions and fashion shows.She was crowned Miss India 2017 by Palaash Miss India, which gave her significant recognition in the fashion industry.
Career in Television and Films
Prachi made her television debut in 2017 with the comedy-drama series Bakula Bua Ka Bhoot on &TV.Nevertheless, her breakout role was Vaani Agarwal Singhania in Thapki Pyar Ki 2, a romantic drama airing on Colors TV. This character garnered her wide recognition among the audience of the television industry.
Her tremendous acting in the 2020 film Beauty Spot bagged her the Best Actress award at the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival.
After doing a series of mythological and devotional dramas, her next role was Devi Ganga in Shiv Shakti – Tap Tyaag Tandav in June 2023. Her role of Sita in the series Srimad Ramayan by the director producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary secured her space in the gutsy bastion of entertainment. In this unit, she played opposite Sujay Reu, who portrayed Lord Ram.
