Sanchita Basu was born on March 24, 2003, in Situaha village, located in Saharsa district, Bihar. As of 2024, she is 21 years old. She currently resides in Bhagalpur, Bihar, and belongs to a Hindu family from the Kulin Kayasthas caste. Sanchita was interested in acting and performance arts since childhood.

Sanchita finished her schooling at Mount Carmel School, Bhagalpur, and opted for science as her stream in higher secondary education. Though she did not attend college, she did go ahead with the Shaktimaan Institute for Film & Television in order to sharpen her acting skills to make a name for herself in the industry.
