Thirumurugan as Gopikrishnan alias Gopi

Srithika as Malarkodi

As Chokalingam’s wife and accused of being the sole nurturing presence of the joint family, Meenakshi assumed the role of a mother who upheld unity for strength in a matriarchal fashion.

Deyvanai, Mayilvahanam’s wife, was patient and resilient. She mostly had to endure her husband’s dictates and whims, showing the silent strength of women in conventional homes.

Kamalasantanam as Pandikumar


Pandikumar, Mayilvahanam and Deyvanai’s son, brought forth the youthful, sometimes reckless energy. His transformation from an immature state to a state of redemption drew attention to a very deep facet.
