Born on August 2, 1984, in Patna, Bihar, Sushant was drawn to current affairs from an early age. He actively participated in school debates and quiz competitions during his time at St. Xavier’s High School, Patna. He later pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University). Although trained in IT, he followed his passion for journalism.

Journalism Career
Sushant began his professional career in 2005 with Live India as an anchor and producer. Over five years, he developed his reporting skills before moving to News 24 in 2011 for a short stint. He then joined NDTV, where he worked as an anchor and associate editor for five years and gained national recognition.

In 2016, he joined India News and contributed to NewsX. Later, he moved to India TV as a senior anchor and executive editor in 2019, where he worked until 2020. Since then, he has been a key face at Times Now, hosting shows like Jawab To Dena Hoga, Suno India, and Prashnakal.
