Look, let’s be real—streaming stuff online? That’s everyone’s second job these days. Pikashow used to be the MVP for free movies, sports, and TV marathons, but it’s kinda hit-or-miss lately. Sometimes it’s down, sometimes it’s blocked, and sometimes it’s just…gone. So yeah, people are hunting for something that works. If you’re over Pikashow’s drama, here are five apps that are worth a shot in 2025.

  1. ThopTV
Okay, ThopTV is still killing it. It’s got pretty much everything: live games, movies, TV shows, news—whatever you’re into, it’s probably there. Doesn’t matter if you’re into Bollywood, Hollywood, or cricket from some random league, ThopTV’s stacked. The interface is super chill, too. They keep things updated, and the streams don’t crap out every five minutes, so yeah, still a favourite.

2. Hotstar
Or, well, Disney+ Hotstar, since the mouse owns everything now. This one’s huge, especially if you’re in India. Tons of local series, Bollywood and Hollywood flicks, all the cricket you can handle, and even Disney stuff for when you wanna pretend you’re “just watching with your niece.” There’s a free plan if you’re broke, or you can pay and get the good stuff. The app runs smoothly, so you’re not stuck staring at buffering hell all night.

3. Oreo TV
Oreo TV came outta nowhere, but people are loving it, mostly because it’s quick and doesn’t bombard you with ads every ten seconds. You get live TV, sports, a massive pile of movies and shows, and it still runs fast on crappy Wi-Fi. It’s got stuff in a bunch of languages too, so you’re not stuck with just one or two options. If you want something that just works without a lot of fuss, this is it.

4. HD Streamz
If you’re the type who likes channel surfing at 2AM or you wanna watch shows from a country you can’t even spell, HD Streamz is your jam. Over a thousand live channels, plus movies and even radio if you’re feeling retro. The app barely buffers and the quality’s solid. People keep downloading it for a reason.

5. JioTV
Alright, this one’s for the Jio crowd in India. Only works if you’ve got a Jio SIM, but if you do, it’s a goldmine. News, sports, movies, devotional stuff for grandma, kids’ channels when you need a break—the whole family can find something. It’s official, stable, and doesn’t do any shady stuff in the background.
