Roberta Gonzales hails from Barstow, California. She pursued a liberal trades degree from San Diego State University. Her trip into broadcasting began with humble places as a gardener and runner, latterly transitioning into editing and reporting positions in San Diego and San Luis Obispo.

Broadcasting Career
Roberta’s professional career took off at KNTV in San Jose. In 1989, she moved to WMAQ- TV in Chicago, where she spent seven times reporting on rainfall. Her return to the Bay Area came in 1996, when she joined KPIX- CBS. Over the coming 21 times, she came a prominent Weather Anchor for both Eyewitness News and KCBS Radio.
