Time Table and Match Format

The tournament used the successful T20 format, which saw 34 matches played. We saw each team get a chance to prove itself and compete for a place in the knockout stages.

League Stage

• Eliminator: In (Top 3 to which Top 4), the winner moves on to Qualifier 2.
• Qualifier 2: In each case, the Loser of Qualifier 1 will play the Winner of Eliminator. The winner advances to the Final.
• Final: In which the Winner of Qualifier 1 met the Winner of Qualifier 2. This one was held on August 28.

In the 2025 edition of the Maharaja Trophy, it was a thrilling final which saw the victory of the Mangaluru Dragons over the Hubli Tigers, thus they won the title.
