Understanding the Super 4 Stage
The Asia Cup Super 4 is the second round of the tournament where the top four teams from the group stage play each other in a round-robin format. Teams earn points for each match, and the top two sides qualify for the final.
To keep things grounded in reality, here is the official points-table structure that will be used when the 2025 tournament actually happens.

How Rankings Are Determined
A few principles always shape the standings:
- Points: Win = 2 points No Result = 1 point Loss = 0 points
- Net Run Rate (NRR): If two teams tie on points, NRR decides who ranks higher.
- Head-to-Head: Sometimes used when NRR is extremely close.
- Wins in Earlier Stage: Occasionally considered if tiebreakers extend beyond NRR.
When the Official 2025 Table Will Be Available
Once matches begin, the real-time Super 4 standings will be updated after each game. At that point, a complete points table with accurate rankings, NRR, and qualification scenarios can be created.
