How to use this list

For large-scale projects that are institutional or commercial in nature, start with the bigger, more established studios (1-15).
For that which is related to private residential projects or climate-responsive work, we see that studios with strong sustainability practices (Biome, Morphogenesis, HundredHands, Mistry) are a good place to start.
For internships, portfolios, and experimental collaborations, look to mid-size and boutique firms (16-35).
Before shortlisting. Also, go over the company’s present portfolio, team, and recent projects.
Closing
Follow up with review of portfolios, direct contact with studios, and, if at all possible, visit completed projects to judge fit and put together a short list that matches your brief and budget.
