Indresh Upadhyay is a familiar face for anyone tuned into spiritual storytelling in northern India and beyond. He’s the founder of BhaktiPath, a devotional preacher, and someone who’s made a real mark by bringing ancient stories and teachings to life. Born on August 7, 1997, right in Vrindavan, Indresh grew up soaking in the energy of one of India’s holiest towns. That place shaped him. It’s no wonder he ended up on this path, diving deep into sacred texts and sharing them with others. His whole journey is rooted in devotion, tradition, and a straightforward love for Lord Krishna.
By 2026, Indresh will be 28. He grew up in a Vaishnav Brahmin family. His father, Shri Krishna Chandra Shastri Maharaj, was already a big name as a katha speaker and spiritual guide, so Indresh had a front-row seat from day one. His mom, Narvada Sharma, and his three older sisters always supported his spiritual interests, too. He went to Kanha Makhan Public School in Vrindavan, but honestly, that was just the start for him. By 13, he’d memorised the entire Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran. That kind of dedication doesn’t go unnoticed.
His real public journey began in 2015, when he delivered his first major Bhagwat Katha in Dwarka, Gujarat. People noticed right away—he had this way of making old teachings feel personal and real. Before long, he was leading kathas and bhajan sessions all over India. Listeners respected how he explained Hindu scriptures and brought bhakti music to life. Later, he started BhaktiPath, his own spiritual platform, and that really took things to another level. Now, his social media and devotional videos reach followers everywhere—live, online, you name it.

December 2025 was a huge personal milestone. Indresh married Shipra Sharma at the Taj Amer Hotel in Jaipur on December 5. It was a grand Vedic wedding, packed with spiritual leaders, saints, and cultural figures—a real celebration of tradition and devotion. Shipra’s from Yamunanagar, Haryana, and her father, Pandit Harendra Sharma, served as a Deputy Superintendent of Police. The wedding got plenty of media buzz, mixing faith, family, and festivity.
Indresh has built a name for himself with his soulful Bhagwat katha narrations, moving bhajans, and powerful speeches. You’ll find him filling up concert halls, dropping new bhajans online, and drawing in crowds of all ages at his talks. He keeps connecting with people, sharing messages about love, forgiveness, dedication, and dharma—and honestly, his influence just keeps growing.
People say his net worth will hit somewhere between ₹50 lakh and ₹1 crore by 2026. That comes from his kathas, devotional events, BhaktiPath, and his online work.
