Boshra Khamenei is a very much a public person in private; she is known for being the daughter of Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran. Though her father plays a large role in world politics and in the structure of the Iranian state, Boshra has kept out of the public eye. She lives in a very private world, which is very much the case for the families of senior Iranian officials who blend public duty with private worship.

Early Life and Father

Boshra Khamenei was born in Iran into a very political and religious family. Her father is Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who has been the Supreme Leader of Iran since 1989, which in turn makes Boshra a member of the most influential family in the Middle East. She grew up in an environment that was centred on Islamic values, scholarly pursuits, and the strict codes of conduct that the clerical elite of Tehran live by.

Her father’s role is that of political and spiritual mentor, which he has in turn passed down to Boshra. This has shaped the environment in which she grew up. Although a member of the Iranian leadership team, Boshra does not seek out public political stage time for herself; instead, she prefers to play a behind-the-scenes role in the running of the Islamic Republic’s public sector.

Siblings and Family Dynamics

Bosra has 6 brothers and sisters. Of them, some are very much into the religious scene, while others keep a low profile regarding the international press, which does not report much on their lives. She has the following siblings:

  • Mostafa Khamenei: Known for work in religion.
  • Mojtaba Khamenei: Also a key player in the Iranian establishment.
  • Masoud Khamenei: In the management of his father’s affairs.
  • Meysam Khamenei: Also part of the clerical and administrative roles.
  • Hoda Khamenei: Her sister, who is also very private.

The Khamenei kids’ lifestyle is a lot more moderate in comparison to that of the children of other global leaders, and they live out the “Zohd” (ascetism), which is a practice often put forth by their father.

Age and Personal Life

As of 2026, Boshra Khamenei is a woman in her late 50s or early 60s. We don’t have the exact date of her birth made public by Iranian state media, which is, in fact, a practice of the family regarding issues of security and privacy. Also, the report does not specify the date of birth, which is her personal choice regarding privacy. She is the wife of Mohammad Javad Bagheri from a family that has strong ties to the religious and political structure. This marriage, in turn, strengthened her position in what is known of the Iranian elite group, although she and her husband, for the most part, do not appear at social functions or in the media.

Net Worth and Financial Standing

Calculating out a number on Boshra Khamenei’s net worth is difficult. While her father runs large-scale state-affiliated (Bonyad) foundations and the “Setad” (Imam’s Headquarters, which is also a huge asset), which are worth billions of dollars, we do not see that Boshra herself has great private wealth or has built up personal commercial empires. In the Iranian leadership, wealth is looked at through the state and religious stewardship, which in turn is very different from what is considered personal luxury. Most reports indicate that she lives a moderate and conservative lifestyle, which is in line with what the clerical class is expected to live.

Wiki and Public Recognition

In that which Boshra Khamenei does not have a government post nor a social media presence, there is no official “Wiki” or public bio put out by the Iranian state. What little info there is comes from her father’s bio notes or from historical looks at the Khamenei family tree. She is a symbol of the traditionalist wing of the Iranian elite, focused on family and faith, which also means she is removed from international media attention.
