Early Life and Academic Excellence
Born in New Delhi on November 23, 1986, Anant Tyagi grew up in an environment that very much valued education and extracurricular activities. Though his family is from Bhopal, they had roots in Mumbai, where Anant spent a large part of his time, but also attended the very best schools for his growth.

Before going into sports media, Tyagi worked as a Business Analyst for a gas company in London. But his love for sports took him to an audition with ESPN-Star Sports. In 2013, he began his broadcasting career as a Hindi commentator for the English Premier League.
In the 2014 launch of the Indian Super League (ISL), we see a turnaround in his career. At first, doing broadcasts in Hindi, he went on to do the English coverage and became the face of the league. Over the years, what we have seen is him take on the ICC Cricket World Cup, the IPL, the Rio Olympics, and the ICC Champions Trophy.
