Early Cricket Career

Siraj took to cricket seriously as a teenager, and he developed his skills in local and club cricket in Hyderabad at first. He broke into the senior team in domestic cricket in the 2016 17 Ranji Trophy season, when he took 41 wickets in 9 matches for Hyderabad.

International Career and Major Achievements

Siraj in 2017 had his T20I debut against New Zealand, and then in 2019 he played his first ODI, which was against Australia. In December 2020, he had his Test debut against Australia in Melbourne.

In the 2023 Asia Cup final, one of his great performances came, which saw him tear through the Sri Lankan batting, which he did with figures of 6/21. Also in that game, he became the first Indian bowler to take four wickets in a single over.
