Education & Qualifications
Manimegalai attended school in Coimbatore until the age of 3. Later, she was brought to Chennai, where her entire family relocated. There she attended Santhosh Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School. Subsequently, she pursued her college education and completed her master’s degree, MBA, at SRM University. Following her studies, she unexpectedly became a VJ for Sun Network.

Family and Relationship
Manimeghalai is from Coimbatore. Her father, Ramayappan, is a businessman in Tirupur, and her mother, Jyothimani, is a housewife. She has a younger brother, Gunamani, who recently completed a degree in Visual communications

Manimeghalai had, from the very beginning, confessed her feelings for Hussain, after which they began their phone conversation on March 5, 2017. Hussain and Manimeghalai met face-to-face for the first time on April 10, 2017, in Chennai. On May 4, 2017, after celebration of Hussain’s Birthday at his working site in Hyderabad, Manmeghalai was involved in a car accident on her way back to Chennai. Career
Manimegalai presented a show titled “Super Hits” on December 30, 2009, at 17, which was broadcast on Sun Network. It was her initial entrance into the Television Industry. She has presented numerous live and reality shows on Sun Music, including Franka Solatta, Kollywood Diaries, and Black.

Following the hosting of multiple live shows, she started to flourish and ultimately secured interviews with celebrities and stars. After spending 9 years at Sun Network, she departed from the company. She became part of Vijay Television solely to take part in a reality show, “Mr And Mrs Chinnathirai,” alongside her husband, Hussain Shaik Kandahar.
