Tui Amar Hero: Cast, Crew and Story
The Story
Aarshi has a good voice and big dreams, but she gives up her singing career to look after her family. Life then pushes her into marriage with Shakyajeet, a film superstar who has lost himself in fame and a messy affair. As the story goes on, Aarshi slowly helps him find the person he used to be.
The serial aired on Zee Bangla from 2025 into early 2026.
Main Cast
Rubel Das plays Shakyajeet Chatterjee, the superstar. Viewers know him from Jamuna Dhaki and Neem Phooler Madhu. Before acting, he was a stage dancer and choreographer, and he first got noticed on Dance Bangla Dance.
Mohona is the other lead actor named in the reports I found. Since I couldn’t confirm her exact role from a reliable source, I’d treat the Aarshi character as the female lead and check the casting on Zee Bangla’s page.
Details on the supporting cast were hard to find, so I haven’t listed names I can’t back up.
Production and Crew
The serial is produced by Long Journey Entertainment for Zee Bangla. I couldn’t find trustworthy information about the director, writer, cinematographer or music team. The credits on ZEE5 or Zee Bangla’s official social media pages are the best place to get the full crew list.
Awards
Rubel Das has been recognised for this role. He won Best Actor at the Tele Academy Awards 2025 for playing Shakyajeet, and he is also listed for Priyo Bor (Favourite Groom) at the Zee Bangla Sonar Sansar Awards 2026.
Is It Ending?
In February 2026, entertainment news reported that Zee Bangla was winding up the serial, partly because of weak TRP numbers. The exact last telecast date wasn’t clear in what I found, so check Zee Bangla’s channel announcements if you want the date. Past episodes should be available on ZEE5.
Not to Be Confused With the 2020 Film
There is also a Bengali romantic comedy film called Tui Amar Hero, released on 21 February 2020. It stars Priyanka Ratti and Joey Debroy and was directed by Soumyadipta Mondal. It has nothing to do with the Zee Bangla serial.
Final Word
Tui Amar Hero is a simple story about a woman who gives up her own dreams and a man who needs to be pulled back to earth. Rubel Das’s work in the lead role has already earned him an award. Whether you watched it live or are catching up online, it is worth a look for fans of Bengali family dramas.
