Tujvin Sakhya Re which won over the audience’s heart is a Marathi TV drama which told the story of love, music, and the social class divide. For over a year the show ran which also did very well for its innovative take on romance and emotion. In a setting which goes from rural to urban the show tells of two which are brought together by their love of music but which fate and circumstance put asunder.

Plot Summary

In the main story, we follow Radhika Pawar, a young girl from a small village that does not have much to offer. Her life changes direction when she meets Rishabh Sarpotdar at some point in time. Although they come from very different backgrounds, the two are connected by their love of music. As love grows between the pair, they also grow to face many issues which are emotional and social in nature which also include those of family pressure, class difference, and personal issues.

Lead Cast

Kadambari Kadam as Radhika Pawar: In Radhika, Kadambari plays out a very strong yet at the same time very sensitive village girl who is dedicated to her passion.

Gaurav Ghatnekar as Rishabh Sarpotdar: Gaurav plays the lead male role which he fills with charm and intensity as Rishabh. His character which is caught between love and his family’s loyalty is at once endearing and relatable.

Satish Pulekar as Vitthal Pawar: As a father of Radhika, Satish’s character displays the traits of a traditional parent’s care as well as protection.

Jui Gadkari as Lavanya Patil: Lavanya takes on the role of the antagonist, which in turn adds dramatic tension to the plot. She also brings in a love triangle, which puts Radhika and Rishabh’s relationship to the test.

Girish Pardeshi as Dushyant Raje: In his role as Radhika’s husband the story is made more complex which in turn brings to light issues of past and present relationships.

Samidha Guru: In a supporting role of great import, Samidha brings to life the story through her powerful on-screen presence and emotional delivery.

Crew and Production

The series did very well in terms of direction, which was at a great balance between romance, emotion and music. Also behind it all was a great creative vision which saw to it that each episode had a powerful message to share out there especially about pursuing your dreams and the strength of love.

Produced under a reputable banner, the production team did an excellent job at high quality storytelling which also featured in rich visual elements, accurate settings, and emotional background scores. The title track which was performed by very talented artists did very well and also set the stage for the series.

Tujhse Sakhya Re is a doable that has a very special story, emotional music, and very well-developed characters. It also did a great job of showing how love and dreams may overcome barriers when fueled by courage and conviction.
