Captaincy

Ruturaj Gaikwad was made captain for season 2025. He was, however, ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a hairline fracture on his elbow while playing against Rajasthan Royals. MS Dhoni therefore took on the role of captainship for the rest of the season.
