Shalini Kandukuri, who is more commonly known as Shalini Reddy, is a qualified MBA professional and an HR manager working with a multinational company. She became famous after her engagement and marriage to the popular South Indian actor Nithiin (Nitin Kumar Reddy).
Early Life & Education
Shalini was born on 27 September 1989, in Kandukur, Andhra Pradesh, India, to a well-educated Hindu family. She is aged 36 as of 2025. Her parents are doctors, and she hails from a family of medics. After completing her schooling from St. Mary’s High School in Hyderabad, she pursued her graduation from the University of London with a specialization in Management and Human Resources in MBA.
Shalini, ever since she was young, felt an inclination towards the corporate field. Interest in business and management helped her maintain complete focus and dedication towards her academic and career goals.
Family & Relationships
Shalini was the only child of her parents. She was nurtured in a loving and supportive environment in Hyderabad. Despite her public marriage to actor Nithiin, she prefers to maintain a private life and has shared very little about her family background publicly.
Shalini married Nithiin on 26 July 2020 in Hyderabad. The couple had been in a relationship for about five years before getting engaged on 15 February 2020. Initially set for April 2020, the wedding had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Their relationship was simply genuine and grounded and shaped over time without massive grand gestures endowed upon their “love story.” Nithiin admitted to the relation even before the couple engaged in an interview with The Times of India.

Shalini stands about 5’4″ and weighs 60 kgs. Her gracious figure measures 33-23-34 in. Shalini possesses jet black hair and eyes and chooses never to decorate herself with ink.
Hobbies & Trivia
Being extremely private, Shalini shies away from social networks. She is a dog lover and hopes to adopt more pets together with her husband. Traveling is her passion; London stands out as one of her favorite cities. Adding to the merriment, Nithiin made the proposal a memorable moment by proposing on one leg! She is said also to admire the work of the actress Samantha.
Currently, it looks like she leads an almost concealed identity out of concern about her corporate career.
