MTV Roadies, a huge reality TV series in India, has been a platform for young people to put forward their grit, willpower and resilience. From 2003, when the show was on, we have seen many contestants who took part in various challenges over the years, out of which only one came out on top each season. Also, we’ll take a look at the winners from Season 1 to Season 20.
Season 1 (2003) – Rannvijay Singha
Rannvijay Singha, who saw the start of the journey and also proved to be the first season’s winner, which in turn made him the face of Roadies in the following seasons.
Season 2 (2004) – Ayushmann Khurrana

Season 5 (2007) – Ashutosh Kaushik
Ashutosh Kaushik’s win in Season 5 was a highlight, which also led to his victory in Bigg Boss Season 2, which in turn secured his place in reality TV.

Season 6 (2008) – Nauman Sait
Nauman Sait’s success in Season 6 was a result of his tenacity and adaptability, which in turn was presented in the way he overcame challenges.
Season 7 (2009) – Anwar Syed
Anwar Syed’s success in Season 7 was a result of his strategy and resilience.
Season 8 (2010) – Aanchal Khurana
Aanchal Khurana’s victory in Season 8 is noted for the fact that she became one of the few female winners, which in turn inspired many.
Season 9 (2011) – Vikas Khoker
Vikas’s victory on the 9th season brought in a new element to the show’s dynamic.
Season 10 (2012) – Palak Johal
Palak Johal’s success in Season 10 was a result of her determination and strength.
Season 11 (2013) – Nikhil Sachdeva
Nikhil Sachdeva’s success in the 11th season was a result of his growth and resilience throughout the season.

Season 12 (2014) – Prince Narula
Prince Narula’s breakout in Season 12 was the start of his domination in reality TV, which saw him also win Bigg Boss and Splitsvilla.
In 2015 Season 13, Balraj Singh Khehra.
Balraj Singh Khehra’s victory in the 13th season brought in a new element of competition to the show.
Season 14 (2016) – Shweta Mehta
Shweta Mehta’s victory at the 14th season was a great accomplishment, which put forth her physical skill and will.
Season 15 (2017) – Kashish Thakur
Kashish Thakur’s victory in Season 15 was due to his strategy and tenacity.
Season 16 (2018) – Arun Sharma
Arun Sharma’s success in Season 16 was a result of his resilience and adaptability.
Season 17 (2019) – Hamid Barkzi
In Season 13, Hamid Barkzi rose to win in the introduction of a different type of challenges, from which the team saw a change.

Season 13 of 2020 Ashish Bhatia and Nandini G.
Season 18 stood out because two winners, Ashish Bhatia and Nandini G., tied for the title.
Season 19 (2021) – Vashu Jain
Vashu Jain’s success in Season 19 was due to his strategy and resilience.
Season 20 (2022) – Kushal Tanwar (Gullu)
Kushal Tanwar, who is better known as Gullu, won the title in Season 20. His story was a study in personal triumph and emotional growth, which made it the most engaging arc of the season. Also of note is the fact that Gullu’s win was a great achievement for debut Gang Leader Elvish Yadav, who mentored him throughout the competition.

MTV Roadies has transformed over the years, which is seen in the new elements we see in each season. Every season brings in a new set of competitors, which brings in a different dynamic to the show. What we have seen from the winners of each season is that they have that extra something, skill, determination and resilience, which has made the show a great part of Indian TV history. As the show grows, it continues to inspire and to entertain, which in turn sets it apart in the reality TV world.
